Who we are

Based in Metro Vancouver, BC, Canada, Theresa has been a high-school science teacher for over 20 years and has coached numerous school teams, including strength and conditioning, badminton, climbing, ball hockey, cross country, volleyball, and basketball. Her coaching philosophy is to provide a supportive, yet challenging environment to promote excellence in her athletes.

Theresa is a competitive powerlifter who holds North American and BC Provincial records. She was selected to represent Canada in 2024, winning gold at the 2024 North American Regional Powerlifting Championships and silver at the 2024 Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships.

Theresa was also an accomplished dragon boater, medalling at local and international regattas, notably the Club Crew World Championships in 2006. Her other recreational activities include ice hockey, the annual 10km Sun Run in Vancouver, and the Rock and Roll Half-Marathons.

Theresa has an in-depth understanding of human movement and physiology, having graduated with several degrees: B.Sc. (Hon), M.D., and B.Ed. She is also an NSCA-certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS).

“Building strength and performance through functional training and commitment to the process” is what Theresa will bring to her training sessions with clients.
